House for groups “Don Guido Vincenzi” – Ginestreto Pesaro

The pastoral house “Don Guido Vincenzi” in Ginestreto, owned by San Carlo Borromeo parish, was born to host parish groups, scouts, catholic associations in general, for camps, spiritual withdrawals or merely to spend some days among the nature.

The building is in the nearest hills around the town, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, near the village of Ginestreto: it takes you only 30 minutes from the beach. It can host 39 people and it has a 2-hectares wonderful garden.

Almost 25 years ago, the emeritus priest Don Guido Vincenzi, started the renovation work of an old country ruin, until its transformation in a halfway house for young groups. Thanks to the present priest Don Massimo Regini and to a new management, we aim to give rediscovery vitality to this house, which has all the characteristics to become a reference point for the groups who are looking for quietness among the lovely Pesaro countries.

Not much far there is the sea, but also lots of wonderful places to visit, for example the typical villages near Ginestreto as Sant’angelo in Lizzola, Monteciccardo, Mombaroccio, the beautiful university town and the caves of Frasassi in the province of Ancona or a bit more to south we can find the Marian sanctuary of the Santa casa in Loreto.

Travelling toward Emilia Romagna, we can come into Gradara castle, the fortresses of san Leo and San Marino. If there is someone who wants to have a walk leaving from the house, it’s possible to reach the sanctuary of Beato Sante near the village of Mombaroccio.

During the summer lots of young people take part in camps organized by our parish of san Carlo Borromeo…they usually do didactic activities, they play, they have walks, they eat and pray all together…everything in the pastoral house for groups “Don Guido Vincenzi” in Ginestreto!
